Bryan Lowrie has been appointed by the Board to fill the
position of Lieutenant.
Officer Pins were distributed to the Officers.

Monthly Reports:

Secretary’s Report:  Minutes of the previous meeting can be

Lieutenants.

Easter Parade – everyone agrees this was an excellent event,
especially the pregnant goat that stopped the parade on
Bourbon Street.  14 Bears watched the parade.
Bear’s Night Out – at Five Happiness (April 14th).  Of course,
the food was good and 19 Bears attended.
The Anniversary Beer Bust was held April 20th at the Phoenix
Bar.
The Anniversary Crawfish Boil & BearBQ – held at the home
of Treasurer George Tresch…was a wonderful event and 62
people attended.  Tibby and Sonny are to be commended for
their excellent boiling skills.

(Secretarial observation;  14 at the parade, 19 at BNO, and 62
at BearBQ = the Bears would rather eat than watch a parade
J).

Vice President’s Report: presented by Vice Pres. Danny
Lecompte.  He informed the Club that Project Lazarus is
hosting a “Bon Appetit” night on Saturday June 16th, with an
“After Party” afterwards to deliver proceeds.

New Business:
The owner of Marigny Perks has offered any member of the
Bears a 25% discount off coffee any evening and Saturday at
his establishment on the corner of Burgundy and Mandeville
Street.

place an ad of support in their program.  Motion carried.

Kenneth G. reminded the Club that PrideFest is approaching.
The Ms & Mr Pride pageant will be held June 16th  at the
Parade of the Bourbon Pub.  PrideFest will be held in
Washington Park on June 24th.  He has an application from
the Pride Board for any groups that want to set up a booth.
Since we are a non-profit group, the cost would be $0.  Since
we had our canopy set up last year, why not do it again this
